    Tuesday night, the Berkeley County School Board approved a ban on parents coaching varsity and junior varsity level sports. The amendment states that no parent volunteer may coach a sport their child plays.A petition with 512 community signatures was brought to the meeting.     A new sentencing hearing has been ordered for a man on South Carolina's death row for killing the mother of his child. The state Supreme Court on Wednesday ruled that John Edward Weik of Moncks Corner should have a new hearing that would give him a chance to leave death row.     Chrysler is recalling more than 700,00 Jeeps for an ignition switch problem.The automaker says the ignition key can be moved out of the on position, by the driver's knee while the car is being driven.
