A big recall of some cribs that can pose a safety hazard is underway.
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission, in conjunction with Jardine Enterprises, have recalled about 320 thousand cribs. Slats and spindles in the cribs can break and create a gap that can entrap a child. There have been 42 incidents of breakage, and four children have become entrapped. The cribs were made in China and Vietnam.
Consumers can reach Jardine at 1-800-646-4106 or visit Jardine's Website for further information about a full credit toward the purchase of a new crib.
In the meantime you should stop using the cribs immediately.
