Hay is for horses—and houses.
Nick Moser is building a hay straw and adobe home in East Texas.
He says the hay is not only locally grown, it’s great a insulator, too.
His walls are two-feet thick and even his roof will be green.
Moser tells the (Palestine) Hearld-Press newspaper his home will be capped with soil and growing plants.
He says the living roof will add insulation and help prevent water runoff.
