“Kung Fu Panda” among new DVD releases

One of the year’s biggest hits, both critically and at the box office, arrives on DVD this week.

It’s not easy becoming a great warrior as Jack Black finds out in “Kung Fu Panda.” 

He provides the voice of the pudgy panda who becomes an unlikely hero. 

Dustin Hoffman and Angelina Jolie are also among the vocal talents in this one. 

Look for chopstick lessons among the bonus features on this two disc release along with panda dance lessons and an all new animated feature called “Secrets of the Furious Five”.
The Star Wars saga continues in the world of animation with “The Clone Wars”.
 
Anakin Skywalker and his fellow Jedi Knights continue their struggle to restore peace to the galaxy and keep the dark side at bay.

This one’s being released as a single disc as well as a two disc special edition and Blu-ray that are laden with extras.
Animation and live action blend in the second “Hellboy” film, entitled “The Golden Army”. 

Ron Perlman is back at the title anti-hero based on the comic book character. 

“Kath and Kim’s” Selma Blair also returns for this sequel. 

Behind the scenes features are included on all variations of the release both on DVD and Blu-ray.
Singing star Chris Brown is among the stars looking to get you
into the holiday spirit with “This Christmas”. 

An ensemble cast including Mekhi Phifer spins this tale of an extended family coming together for Christmas for the first time ages. 

It’s rated PG-13. 
There’s more spirit of the season in “The Perfect Holiday”. 

Gabrielle Union and Faizon Love star in this romantic comedy about a child’s Christmas wish to deliver her mom and new husband. 

This one’s rated PG.

Also out this week, the drama “Flashbacks of a Fool”,starring double oh seven himself, Daniel Craig, in a non-action adventure role.
