The first digital video recorders started popping up in American households in 1999.

Now, about 20 million people have DVRs.

AT&T has unveiled a new DVR that expands the machine’s capabilities.

AT&T’s new DVR works anywhere in the home from one location and can record four shows at once.

It also has another feature in which one can pause a recorded show and start watching it again in another room.

As many as seven TVs can be connected to one unit.

Prices for the new DVR range from $40 to $160 per month, which includes Internet service.
