Nancy Drew could be getting a partner in crime-fighting—a 13-year-old boy.

Police in a New York City suburb report the young man did the detective work in tracking down a 17-year-old accused in a bike theft.

Scarsdale police say the 13-year-old’s nearly $2,300 mountain bike was stolen while the kid was in a deli.

The boy did the leg work on the Internet and says he found his bike for sale on eBay.

Officers arrested the 17-year-old for possession of stolen property.

He was released to his parents and his due in court October 1st.
