Bus driver threat

A Florida school bus driver has been arrested after threatening to kill the mother of one of his young passengers.

It all began when Aahil Ali missed the bus. He and his mother raced to catch up, and Aahil got on at the next stop.  That’s when said the driver unleashed a barrage of threats that absolutely stunned Muneerah Ali.  A surveillance camera aboard the bus was running as the two exchanged words.

“It was in his eyes that he was ready to kill someone,” said Ali.  “He was very serious, very serious. He was standing up and ready to swing that rod at me.”

The woman’s son, already on board the bus, called 911.  “I’m really scared. He’s going to hurt my mom when we get back to school,” Aahil Ali said on the 911 call.  Although the arresting officer recommended no bail, the driver was released on $15,000 bail.

He’s now washing, but not driving, school buses.  Muneerah Ali said it scares her that, because he’s their bus driver, he knows where they live.
