The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office is looking for those responsible for stealing nearly $20,000worth of lawn equipment at Ashley Ridge High school.
The sheriff’s office has video showing a white ford pickup truck driving onto school property around 2am on November 8th. Not even an hour later, the video then shows the truck leaving with a stolen white trailer loaded down with the stolen equipment including two lawn mowers, a weed eater, an edger, two backpack sprayers and six gas cans.
Deputies say it appears the thief or thieves may be using the equipment to start their own business.
