A very cold and dry airmass will arrive later Friday behind a strong cold front. Moisture values will plummet this afternoon in many areas across the Lowcountry away from the coast.
The combination of very low relative humidity and gusty northwest winds will lead to an enhanced fire danger this afternoon.
Very dry conditions will persist through this weekend. Please refer to your local authorites on whether you can burn today. If you do burn, you are advised to use extreme caution.
