27-year-old killed in North Charleston shooting

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — The Charleston County Coroner's Office has released the identity of the person killed in North Charleston, Sunday morning.

According to Deputy Coroner Anita Hasert, Kayron Mitchell, 27, of North Charleston, died on scene from multiple gunshot wounds. 

Authorities responded to a home in the 2600 block of Hoston Street on March 18 after someone was seen in the front yard of the home with gunshot wounds.

Witnesses in the area said that they heard about three or four gunshots at around 9:30 p.m. but nothing after that.
