CSU baseball player accused of raping woman is out of jail

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) -  On March 19th at approximately 6 p.m. authorities made contact with a patient at Trident Medical in reference to a sexual assault that happened in the past. 

The victim stated she was out with friends bowling and drinking on March 5th. She went home with her boyfriends roommate, Nik Constantakos at approximately 2:30 a.m. The victims boyfriend was not present that night, but because of her being intoxicated she decided to stay there for the night.

According to the report, Constantakos forced himself on the victim and began kissing her. Both, the victim and Constantakos were intoxicated. She states that she tried to push him away but he would not let go.

He took her back to his bedroom and that is where he forced intercourse while she tried to get away again with no success.

Nik Constantkos is charged with Criminal Sexual Conduct in the First Degree and the bond court judge released him on a personal recognizance bond.
