BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) - Deputies with the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office investigated a drug-related complaint in the Moncks Corner area during the evening hours of Wednesday, May 16.
It's stated that deputies came into contact with a black Chevrolet Tahoe in the parking lot of the Super Wal-Mart in Moncks Corner. The Tahoe was occupied three times.
According to the Facebook post by Berkeley County Sheriff's Office, after speaking with the occupants, it was determined that he was in possession of a baggie containing a white, crystal like substance that field tested to be methamphetamines.
The weight was shown to be 28 gross grams, enough to make 280 typical doses of the highly addictive narcotic, authorities said.
After the investigation was over, David Hudson Evans, Jr., 33, of Goose Creek was arrested and transported to the Hill-Finklea Detention Center pending warrant service and a bond hearing.
