Pedestrian charged after being hit on Savannah Highway

An auto pedestrian accident occurred just before 9:50 Friday morning.

A man, crossing Savannah Highway without the right-of-way, walked into the path of a motorist, making a left turn from a parking lot onto Savannah Highway.

The pedestrian was taken to Roper Hospital, where he was treated and released.

The pedestrian charged with failure to yield the right-of-way.
