SUMMERVILLE, S.C. - As police continued searching for one of four teens who ran away from a Summerville treatment center last week, critics say the facility lacks security to handle the
potentially dangerous youths staying there.

The Post and Courier of Charleston reported that a police search continued for 19-year-old Delonte Parker. The three other runaways were caught Thursday and returned to the center.

All four were committed to the center by courts under the authority of the District of Columbia Department of Youth Rehabilitation Center.

Authorities did not reveal what charges they faced in Washington or why they were being treated.

The Palmetto Behavioral Health treatment center says on its website that it offers a wide array of inpatient treatments for sexual aggression, substance abuse and post- traumatic stress among teens.
