Home is truly where the heart is, and Cuthbert Langley could not believe more in that saying.
A Mt. Pleasant native, Cuthbert is excited to be back in his hometown. He graduated from Wando High School and went on to The University of Georgia where he graduated magna cum laude with a double degree in Digital/Broadcast News and International Affairs.
During college, he interned right here at News 2 and was also a reporter and producer for UGA NewSource, the only news show for 26 counties in Georgia.
After graduating from college, the big lights of New York City called, and he went up to the Big Apple to begin his career as an NBC Page (yes, like Kenneth from 30 Rock). During that stint, he worked full time with Saturday Night Live.
However, the allure of studio 8H was not enough to keep him in the Big Apple, and his heart told him he needed to get back home and get back to local news.
Aside from being a total news junkie, Cuthbert also enjoys running and playing the piano, while singing Billy Joel songs. He is also a big fan of the Georgia Bulldogs!
If you ever have any story ideas or questions about the Lowcountry, reach out to Cuthbert on Facebook, Twitter or email. Feel free to say, "Welcome back!" whenever you see him!
