News 2 presents Jane Edwards Elementary with the news 2 Cool School award.
All week, we've shown you all the cool things taking place at Jane Edwards Elementary on Edisto Island.
Jane Edwards has received the Palmetto Silver award for academics for several years, and Palmetto gold award for improvement. The Buddies program brings students together to work in a garden.
The students are Edisto Island history detectives, and explore the rich history of their community.
Students are learning curriculum standards through boat building.
