The 2013 Charleston Fashion Week is in its seventh year running, growing in leaps and bounds since inception. From 700 guests to 7,500, Charleston is putting itself on the fashion map.
Last year, $2.4 million dollars is the estimated amount brought into the city by the Fashion Week. With visitors coming from across the country, event organizers rank the week-long runway show as one of the top fashion events.
Misty Lister of Charleston Fashion Week says, "I could be biased but we definitely think we are the premiere Fashion Week of the South. As far as New York or Miami, I'd say we are running a close 3rd or 4th, for sure."
The event lasts through Saturday, tickets sold here.
