Summerville Police arrest suspect in First Federal Bank robbery

Thursday afternoon the First Federal bank located at 1315 N. Main Street was robbed.
Later Thursday afternoon Summerville Police arrested Charles E. Johnson. Johnson is charged with entering a financial institution with intent to steal.
Johnson will have a bond hearing Saturday March 23 at 7 p.m.
According to police the suspect entered the bank and demanded cash. He did not present a weapon but he told bank employees that he had a bomb.
