Teen arrested for burglary and car break-in

An alert from a concerned citizen helped Charleston Police arrest a teen Wednesday for a burglary and a car break-in on Pebble Road in West Ashley on March 8. 

Michael Diehl, 17, of Charleston, is charged with Burglary 1st Degree, Breaking into a Motor Vehicle and Petit Larceny. Diehl is being held in the Al Cannon Detention Center.   

On March 8, 2013, someone entered an apartment on Pebble Road through the bathroom window. The items stolen include two Airsoft replica pellet guns, a GPS and several collectible coins.

On March 18, 2013, someone entered an unlocked vehicle on Pebble Road and took a telephone charger and the keyless entry remote to the vehicle. These items have been recovered and returned to the victim.

    Brunswick County Sheriff's Office detectives are searching for a missing teen from Ocean Isle Beach. Haley Brook Clark, age 16, was last seen Tuesday at approximately11 p.m, officials said.She is approximately 5'4" tall, slender build and has brown hair and blue eyes.
