A man is arrested after a standoff with police.

William Rice had barricaded himself into a home in North Charleston, according to officials with the US Marshals Service. Both federal and local law enforcement surrounded a home off Spring Creek Road.

When deputies responded to the Friday, the homeowner told deputies that there were five people in the home, and Rice was still inside. The other four people in the home were cooperating with authorities, Dorn said.
