Suspect on the loose after altercation leads to shooting on Rivers Ave

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC -

Police responded to a shooting at Hampton Oak Apartments on Rivers Ave. Monday. Officials say that two male suspects where in an altercation and according to witnesses, one of the males took off running with the second one chasing after him. 

The two ran behind a car wash that is located next the apartment complex. It was then witnesses said they heard what sounded like gunfire. 
 
No victim or suspect has been located and investigators continue to remain on scene.
