Police chase in Berkeley County leaves two dead

The deadly crash happened just after 10PM Wednesday evening on Foster Creek Road in Berkeley County.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the vehicle was trying to outrun Hanahan Police when it went off the roadway.

There were four people in the car.  Three were not wearing seat belts, and they were ejected. 

Troopers also said the passengers may have been under the age of 18, but they have not released any identities.  The coroner has not released the names of the victims either. 

Two of the passengers have been pronounced dead, and two are being treated at the hospital.

    Authorities are currently investigating a robbery in North Charleston. According to dispatchers, North Charleston Police Department responded to the CVS Pharmacy at 8995 University Blvd in reference to a robbery at 9pm Friday night. Details very limited at this time but according to viewers in the area, about 7 police vehicles are on scene.
