Walgreens pharmacy robbed on Folly Road

CHARLESTON, SC -

Sunday night police responded to the Walgreens at 907 Folly Road in reference to a robbery.

According to police a white male entered the store and went to the pharmacy counter and demanded oxycontin.  The suspect left the pharmacy with prescription medication fleeing on foot.

Witnesses described the suspect as a white male, 35-40 years old, 6 feet in height, 240 pounds, wearing brown/tan shorts, an orange shirt and a brown ball cap.  The suspect also had an arm cling and bandages over his nose and chin.

Anyone with information in the robbery is asked to contact the Charleston County Sheriff's Office at 843-202-1700 or Crime Stoppers at 843-554-1111.
