SC State hunts for new school leader

The candidates for president of South Carolina State University will tour the campus Tuesday  through Thursday to interview with SC State's Board of Trustees, as well as meet with various stakeholder groups. 


During each candidates visit, the school's faculty, staff, students, alumni and all interested stakeholders will have the opportunity to meet the candidate by attending a forum where the candidate will share their philosophy, background information, and  receive questions.
 
The forum schedule that all three candidates will follow is listed below:
12 p.m. to 1 p.m.         SC State Faculty and Staff
3 p.m. to 4 p.m.           SC State Students
4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.      SC State University Alumni and Community

Dr. Leonard A. McIntyre will visit on Tuesday, April 9, 2013; followed by Mr. Thomas Elzey's visit on Wednesday; and Dr.  E. Newton Jackson will visit on Thursday.

 Each candidate will begin the day by interviewing with SC State's Board of Trustees at 9:30 AM.

  
Forums will be held in the Dr. Barbara A. Vaughan Fine Arts Recital Hall in the Fine Arts Center located on the campus of SC State University.

Parking will be made available in the Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center's parking lot.
