Police search for flasher in Mt. Pleasant

Police are searching for a man they say has flashed several people in Mt. Pleasant.

According to police reports and the descriptions of several witnesses, the suspect is described as a white male, between the ages of 30-45, stands at 5'10-6'0. Witnesses say he has either sandy blonde or brown hair, possibly some facial hair and one victim said he had a distinctly "square" head. In most cases, the suspect was wearing a hoodie and baggy clothes.

In the cases, the suspect was fondling himself and exposing his genitals to the victims.

According to police on April 11, 2013 a victim told police she was walking on Chuck Dawley Blvd when a white male suspect grabbed her from the rear, placed in a choke hold and told to drop whatever she had.  The victim complied and the suspect inappropriately touched her chest then ran off with her phone.

Sunday morning April 14. 2013 police were dispatched to 723 Pitt Street in Mt Pleasant in reference to a man exposing himself.  When police arrived the victim was visibly shaken.  She told police that she was out running when she ran by a white male who was leaning up against a tree facing her at the address of 826 Pitt Street with his shorts around his knees fondling himself.  The victim said after she passed him she heard footsteps being her and as she turned the suspect was right behind her still exposing himself.  The victim yelled and the suspect ran off toward the Pitt Street Bridge.

On Tuesday April 16 officers responded to 1105 Dawn View Terrace for reports that a man was reportedly masturbating outside a home.  When police arrived they met with the victims, one of whom confronted the suspect.  The victim told police when he confronted the suspect he fled not wearing any pants or shorts
