LAKE CITY, SC -

A portrait of Steve Jobs made with Apple computer parts is the new winner of the $25,000 People's Choice prize at the ArtFields art festival in Lake City.

The work was created by Columbia artist Kirkland Smith who was named the winner Wednesday after the original winner of the award was disqualified.

Organizers said eligibility rules required that entries be wholly owned by the artist. The original award went to an iconic photograph of the Warsaw Ghetto that had been colorized by the artist.

ArtFields featured 400 pieces of art in public venues and stores for 10 days in April. The event awarded $100,000 in prize money.
