CHARLESTON, SC -

The law giving more state incentives to the aerospace giant, Boeing, was made official on Friday.

State law makers that included Governor Nikki Haley praised Boeing for the delivering more than promised. Now a second phase of expansion will begin in North Charleston which will double the Boeing's already massive footprint in area.

Gov. Haley signed into law the state economic development incentives plan recently approved by general assembly.

The plan gives Boeing $120-Million to Boeing for infrastructure on it's expansion plans. For the money the Company promises 2-thousand new jobs and additional investments in excess $1-billion.

Governor Haley, who one Boeing official said has "rock star status" among company execs, is more the than happy to offer up the cash because it makes a long term commitment.  "Know that this is not going anywhere it's only going to grow shows the sign that South Carolina and Boeing are forever connected and we are very excited about that."
