News 2 presents Academic Magnet High School with our cool school award.

All week we've shown you all the cool things taking place at Academic Magnet High School in North Charleston. Students qualify based on their academic accomplishments, G.P.A., test performance, writing samples, and teacher recommendations. Academic Magnet High School has a long list of awards and accomplishments. The school is ranked number ten in the nation by U.S. News and World report in 2006 and 2013.

The Thesis Project, a signature program, is helping to produce outstanding scholars.
