Triple murder suspect waives right to hearing

Posted: Updated:

Jeffrey Eady, the man suspected of killing three women, waived his right to a bond hearing Tuesday night.

The hearing was scheduled to begin at 5:30 Tuesday evening at the Clarendon County Detention Center, but officials say he waived that appearance.

This comes one day after Eady was rushed to an area hospital in Manning after he attempted to commit suicide.

Authorities spent last weekend searching for Eady after he murdered a Crystal Johnson at a convenience store in Charleston County. Eady was found in Mexico Beach, Florida after he attempted to run from deputies.

On Sunday the body of Eady's third victim, Sadie Brown, was found in New Zion, not far from where the body of another victim, Maybel White was found earlier last week.

It is not known at this time when Eady will have another appearance in court.
