CHAPEL HILL, NC -

The USC Gamecocks and Tar Heels will play game 3 of their Super Regional Tuesday at 12 noon to decide who will go to the College World Series.

The game will be televised on ESPN2.

Sumter native Jordan Montgomery threw a complete game shutout against North Carolina in the second game of the Super Regional in Chapel Hill Sunday.

The winner will head to Omaha, Neb. and join seven other teams in the College World Series.

The series is currently tied at one game each. The Gamecocks won Sunday afternoon's game by score of 8-0.

The Gamecocks are expected to send freshman left-hander Jack Wynkoop (7-3, 2.92 ERA) to the hill. He will be opposed by Tar Heel right-hander Benton Moss (8-1, 3.27 ERA).
