Police searching for suspect after two shot in Ladson

Investigators are searching for Travis Donald Fender, who is suspected in the shooting. Investigators are searching for Travis Donald Fender, who is suspected in the shooting.
DORCHESTER COUNTY, SC -

Tuesday afternoon police responded to 200 Oakmont Drive in Ladson regarding two people being shot.

When officers arrived they found two victims shot in the chest.  Both victims were conscious.

Investigators are searching for Travis Donald Fender, who is suspected in the shooting.  A warrant for Attempted Murder has been issued for Fender's arrest

Police say an additional suspect, Brent Peets, is listed in the report however his involvement is still under investigation.  
   
Anyone having information on the location of Fender is encouraged to contact the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office or Crime Stoppers.

    Thousands lined the streets to honor Charleston County Sheriff's deputy Joe Matuskovic.The Lowcountry paused to pay its respects to the deputy that was killed in a shootout last Monday night. Streets and highways were shutdown throughout the day so the several miles long procession could take the deputy to his final resting place at Old Saint Andrew's Parish Church Cemetery.
