The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office Drug Enforcement Unit has taken three suspects into custody in connection with an active meth lab in Moncks Corner.

Agents, acting on a tip, found an active meth lab at a residence on Chris Lane, near Highway 17-A & Farrell St. Moncks Corner.

Police smelled a strong chemical odor and observed a thick white cloud coming from inside the house.  Agents identified the odor and white smoke as a product of a meth lab.

A search warrant was executed on the residence where agents located an active meth lab in the kitchen, along with methamphetamine components and paraphernalia throughout the house.

Authorities arrested Bryan Allen Adkins, Mathew Benjamin Legette and Brittney Dane Euthon.

All were charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine and are being held at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center awaiting bond hearings.

Police say more arrests are expected in this case.
