North Charleston Police investigate possible murder-suicide on Thoroughbred Street

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC -

Around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday North Charleston Police responded to 4600 Thoroughbred Street for a domestic incident between a man and woman.

When officers arrived at the scene several people were leaving the home.  As police approached the home they heard two gunshots.

Once police were inside the home they discovered a male and female both dead.

Police continue to investigate.

    There was a call of a burglary Thursday on Carriage Lane in Mt. Pleasant.An officer saw the suspect vehicle on Mathis Ferry and a short chase ensued.The vehicle crashed at the roundabout, near the 526 overpass, closing the area. Officers started a chase on foot. Both suspects were arrested near Southhampton Apartments.If anyone saw the vehicle pictured involved in anything suspicious Thursday, please call 843-884-4176.
