The North Charleston Police responded to Leeds Avenue around 7:30 p.m. Friday evening after a man told court security he had a bomb.

Police say the suspect, 56-year old Danny Pacetti of North Charleston, told security he had a bomb after entering the area for court visitors.

Officers said after telling Pacetti such comments will get him arrested, he repeated the threat a second time and said the bomb was under his shirt.

Police did not see humor, Pacetti is charged with: False information on attempt to use destructive device.
