Police investigate shooting on Clements Ferry Road

When police arrived they found one man with a gunshot wound to the back and a car with numerous bullet holes. When police arrived they found one man with a gunshot wound to the back and a car with numerous bullet holes.
HUGER, SC -

Monday night officers were called to the Kangaroo Express on Clements Ferry Road in response to a shooting.

When police arrived they found one man with a gunshot wound to the back and a car with numerous bullet holes.

A witness told police she was driving down Clements Ferry Road when she noticed the victim walking towards the Kangaroo.  The witness said the victim got into the car and said "I'm dying, those boys got me."  The witness drove the victim to the Kangaroo and called 911.

Authorities found the victim's car in the area of Clements Ferry Road at Cainhoy Road with numerous bullet holes in the body and windshield.

The victim was taken to MUSC and later released.  Investigators say the victim is not cooperating with police.
