News 2's "Lowcountry Proud" coming to Dorchester County

News 2's "Lowcountry Proud" coming to Dorchester County

WCBD News 2's is taking our shows on the road this Thursday as we present "Lowcountry Proud" Dorchester County. News 2 will broadcast live starting with News 2 Today, Noon, 5 and 6 p.m. from downtown Summerville during the 3rd Thursday event.

This is a great opportunity for the community to come out and participate in the live newscasts that will highlight the city's businesses, activities and people. It also gives News 2 fans a chance to see what goes on behind the scenes. 

News Director Scott Flannigan says, "We intend to share with the Lowcountry, the positive things happening in Dorchester County. I hope the viewers watching News 2's Lowcountry Proud series this Thursday will walk away with a renewed sense of appreciation toward the people who live, work and play in Dorchester County."
