Police release sketch of suspect in Home Team attempted robbery

CHARLESTON, SC -

Wednesday Charleston Police released the sketch of a suspect in the attempted robbery behind Home Team BBQ July 6.

Police describe the suspect as a black male in his teens, between 5'8" and 6' with a slender build. 

On July 6 police were called to the Home Team BBQ on Ashley River Road for an attempted armed robbery.

Authorities say two people were in the parking lot behind the restaurant when they were approached by a man demanding money from both victims.  The suspect fled running towards Diana Street near the Maryville Subdivision.

Anyone with information can call Charleston Police at 577-7434 or Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
