Police arrest suspect in Starlite Lounge murder

ST GEORGE, SC -

Wednesday the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office announced they had arrested a suspect in the murder of Sierra D. Truesdale.

On July 14 at 1:50 a.m. the Dorchester County Sheriff's office responded to a call of shots fired at the Starlight Lounge located at 243 Hudson Rd in St George. When deputies arrived on scene they discovered that three people were shot, resulting in one victim being deceased.

According to authorities their investigation led to the arrest of Ikeal Emar Dacis.  He is charged with murder.

Police say they will continue to investigate and more arrests are likely and because of this, no further information will be released at this time.

    Chrysler is recalling more than 700,00 Jeeps for an ignition switch problem.The automaker says the ignition key can be moved out of the on position, by the driver's knee while the car is being driven. This could cause the engine to stall and the airbags to stop working.It affects Jeep Commanders with model years 2006 to 2007 and Jeep Grand Cherokees with model years 2005 to 2007.Chrysler says it will contact affect customers by mid-September.
