Police charge man with multiple indecent exposure incidents

MOUNT PLEASANT, SC -

Monday afternoon officers with the Mount Pleasant Police Department responded to the report of a man exposing himself at a bus stop on US 17 Frontage Rd and Bowman.

Police were able to attain a tag number for the suspect's vehicle after speaking with the victim.

Charleston police arrest indecent exposure suspect

An officer observed a vehicle matching the description a short time later and made a traffic stop.  Keith Preston Crum was arrested without incident. 

A joint investigation by Mount Pleasant and Charleston Detectives was able to link Crum to multiple Indecent Exposure incidents in Mount Pleasant and Charleston. 

Crum is being charged by the Mount Pleasant Police with ten counts of Indecent Exposure and two counts of Assault 1st Degree.  Crum is being charged by the Charleston Police with three counts of Indecent Exposure and one count of Criminal Sexual conduct 3rd Degree. 

Crum's is scheduled to have a bond hearing at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
