Man threatens to kill victim during home invasion

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC -

Authorities are searching for a suspect in a home invasion on Nugget Drive in Orangeburg.

According to the Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office their investigation discovered that just after 5 a.m. Sunday July 21, Kishon Chappelle Gowan, reached through a backdoor window to gain access to the home.  The suspect then allegedly pointed a gun at a 25-year-old victim and said "I should kill you" and "You better be glad your kids are here".

Govan had fled the residence when officers arrived.

We do believe that Govan is a threat to his victim and to others based on the incident Sunday morning.
