Fatal accident near Magnolia Gardens in Charleston County

Charleston County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a fatal one car accident. It happened Sunday morning around 3:00. The victim is identified as 45-year-old Grady Garris of West Ashley. 

Deputies responded to Hwy 61 in the area of Magnolia Gardens of a reported single car accident. When police arrived, they found the 2001 BMW overturned.

Investigators say the driver left the road, struck a tree and overturned. Garris died on the scene.
