Health Aviator at Taste of Charleston to answer questions about Affordable Care Act

As most Americans try to figure out how that affects them and their health coverage, the Health Aviator makes a stop in the Lowcountry. The mobile unit is aiming to be the first of licensed insurance brokers coming to you and answer your questions.
 
The specialists operating the business are based in South Carolina, serving consumers nationwide and is certified to sell low-income subsidies to residents in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
 
Saturday while setting up for the Taste of Charleston they told News 2 the public can come visit the mobile unit and speak with a licensed insurance broker before they're ready to set people up from inside the unit on October 1.
 
They'll be available from 10a.m. to 3p.m. Sunday at Boone Hall during the Taste of Charleston festival.
 
There is a News 2 special airing about the Affordable Care Act on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

    Emergency crews responded to a car fire on Folly Beach Monday evening.Folly Beach Public Safety says they responded to the Old Coast Guard Base on the east end of Folly Beach on Labor Day for a car fire.No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.This is a developing story.
