Police seek suspect in Coosaw Elementary School burglary

BEAUFORT, SC -

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office has identified a suspect in last week's burglary of an elementary school.

Twenty-one year old Cody Auvil Perkins of Beaufort is wanted on one count of 2nd degree Burglary in connection with the September 22nd break-in at Coosaw Elementary School.

Perkins and another unidentified male were captured on surveillance footage breaking into the school at approximately 1 am on September 22nd. Once inside, the men forced entry to a vending machine and cash register in the cafeteria, stealing an undisclosed amount of cash.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Cody Perkins is asked to contact either Investigator Cpl. A. Zsamar at 843-255-3408 or Crimestoppers.
