Crews working to repair downed power lines on Arlington Drive in Charleston

Crews are working to repair downed power lines on Arlington Drive in Charleston.

According to the Charleston County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a single vehicle accident on Arlington Drive near Rondo Street around 2:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Officials say the vehicle involved hit a power pole, then a building in the area. Minor injuries were reported in the accident.

Right now, traffic is being rerouted. Drivers are urged to avoid the area while responders are on the scene. SCE&G is working to repair the lines.
