Marrington Elementary receives Cool School award

News 2 presents Marrington Elementary with our Cool School award.

All week, we've shown you all the cool things taking place at Marrington Elementary in Berkeley county. Marrington Elementary is located at Joint Base Charleston in Goose creek. Students come from all over the world.

Marrington has a long history of academic achievements. The school received Palmetto Gold or Silver awards for the past nine years. They received an A-plus rating on the state report card the past two years.

Parent and military volunteers provide extra support for students, teachers, and staff.
