Man arrested for robbing James Island CVS pharmacy

Police say they've arrested a suspect for a CVS pharmacy robbery.

Brian Laing, 26, of Whipple Road, is charged with strong armed robbery. 

According to Charleston police, at 5:05 Saturday, Laing entered the CVS on Maybank Highway at Folly Road, handing a note to the pharmacist demanding Oxycotin. The pharmacist gave Laing a bottle and he fled in an unknown direction.

Laing was arrested about 1:30 Sunday morning. He is scheduled to have a bond hearing Monday.
