Double shooting in North Charleston, one dead

North Charleston police are investigating a double shooting that left one victim dead.

A little before 7 p.m. Sunday evening, Officers responded to the area of Dorsey and Dorchester Road in reference to a man saying he had been shot.

A spokesperson with the Police Department says one victim was found dead near a dumpster.  Officials identify him as 31-year-old Cedric James.  North Charleston Investigators say he died from a gunshot wound. 

Another victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
