Job fair for veterans planned in North Charleston

Wednesday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm the US Chamber of Commerce will host a job fair for veteran job seekers, active duty military members, guard and reserve members, and military spouses. The event will be hosted at the General Mark W. Clark National Guard Armory at 7220 Cross County Road in North Charleston.

Prior to the job fair, veterans can participate in a resume writing workshop that includes tips for successfully navigating hiring fairs, military skill translation, and interviewing. The workshop starts at 9:00 a.m.

Several employers are expected at the event from the Charleston County School District to police departments and large manufacturing companies.
