Posted: Updated:

Dashandre Sampson, 20, of Myrtle Beach is charged with sexual assault with a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Police were called to Conway hospital for a report of a rape victim. The 16-year-old old was reportedly assaulted while she was incapacitated by an unknown drug.

The victim states the subject picked her up December 13, and took her back to his apartment. The victim states she went to Sampson's apartment with the intention of drinking alcohol and doing drugs but not to have sex. The teenager told police she never drank alcohol or did drugs before but she was mad at her father and had heard alcohol and drugs will "clear your head" and said that's what she wanted to do.

The victim stated she observed the subject pour an unknown brown liquid into her drink which she drank. She said she began to feel funny and was having a hard time standing. The victim told police the subject began to pull her pants down but can't remember anything beyond that point. After she woke up the victim said the subject drove her back but wouldn't tell her what happened.

The victim went to the hospital and police were contacted. Sampson is currently being held at J. Reuben Long Detention center.
