Suspect in Orangeburg robbery arrested in Washington, D.C.

Calvon Reginald Steven Brown has been arrested for robbing an 18-year-old man. Calvon Reginald Steven Brown has been arrested for robbing an 18-year-old man.
ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC - Police in Orangeburg County have arrested a suspect in October 6 armed robbery of an 18-year-old.

According to police on October 6 Calvon Reginald Steven Brown was armed with a knife when he stole money, a cell phone and an ATM card from the victim.  Surveillance video captured Brown at a convenience store near the location of the robbery.

Brown fled to Washington, D.C. after the robbery and was arrested by the U.S. Marshalls Fugitive Task Force.

Brown will have a bond hearing Monday at 2:30 p.m.
